With reference to ICAA' s Covid-19 - Prevention Measure Circular -1622 - 13th of March 2022
Arriving into Iraq
From the 1st of April, passengers arriving into Erbil must hold a
1. Proof of full vaccination (at least 2 jabs unless the one-jab Johnson & Johnson type)
or
2. If unable to provide a Vaccination card or a Vaccination Exemption certificate (for medical reasons) a negative PCR test (up to 72 hours) must be presented.
3. Applicable to passengers of the age of 12 and over.
EIA Medical will continue to check all documents on arrival, for Vaccination card - if no proof, pax will be PCR-tested.
Departing from Iraq
From the 1st of April, passengers departing from Erbil must follow the COVID19 entry requirements for the country of destination, and the airline’s requirement.
It is the passengers’ responsibility to check the airline’s and websites for your destination in case you are required to show:
o Proof of full vaccination (at least 2 jabs)
Or
o a negative PCR test (check validity)
Or a medical report confirming pax is unable to take a vaccination ( for various medical reasons)
There will no longer be a KRG MOH Negative-test document check from the 1st of April.
